Mattea is a NBCAAM-certified and licensed Equine Massage Therapist in the state of Washington. She is currently working toward her certification in Equine Functional Taping. She prides herself on her understanding of equine biomechanics and how to best support horses both under saddle and on the ground. Through a strong knowledge of equine anatomy and the muscular system, she provides effective problem-solving techniques and helps develop stronger, more balanced equine partners.

Mattea has a deep passion for building a solid foundation in young stock to prepare them for a well-rounded future. She has a versatile background that includes saddle seat, hunt seat, jumping, ranch riding, and equitation. While her primary focus has been performance and sport horses, her program is not breed-specific—every horse deserves the opportunity for a successful future.

Mattea’s program includes evaluations for massage, training, and lessons. Travel training is available, and haul-ins are welcome. Training spots are intentionally limited to ensure each horse receives personalized attention without the stress of fast-paced timelines. She believes in meeting both the owner and the horse beforehand to ensure a partnership that is the right fit for everyone involved.
